Jump the Shark (JTS) is a 3-piece indie rock band from Oneonta, NY formed in 2019. Merging alternative, pop, and rock styles influenced by 80’s and 90’s indie music, they play original material in the same sensibility of R.E.M.,The Cure, Cake, and The Magnetic Fields.
After releasing four independently-produced albums, in 2024, JTS released their first professionally recorded, mixed, and mastered EP, ThreEPiece, with Recording Engineer Bill Moss, who has worked with artists as diverse as Elvis Costello, the Beach Boys, and even Sesame Street. 

Due to their high-energy shows and catchy tunes, their fan base is dedicated and growing.

Their upcoming album, "Fine", is due for release in December 2026.
